NEIHC Open 2016 :: July 30 & 31, 2016

On July 30-31, 2016, the NEIHC will host an open sanctioned show at Thor Icelandics in Claverack, NY. There will be classes for EVERYONE — young to old, beginner to experienced. It will be a fantastic event to not just challenge yourself and your horse but also to have fun with your horse and other Icelandic horse enthusiasts. We hope you will all come and ride or simply cheer on your friends. A pre-competition clinic with Nicole Kempf of Germany will be held before the showJuly 27-29.

FIPO/FEIF/USIHC Guidelines for Appearance, Shoeing, Tack & Equipment

Click here to download the guidelines (PDF) you need to make sure you and your horse are show ready and compliant with FIPO/FEIF/USIHC rules and guidelines. Covers rider dress code, appearance of the horse, rule for the types of tack and equipment that are permitted, proper shoes and shoeing, and prohibited equipment.
