Mountain Trail Mini Clinic
NEIHC-only Mountain Trail Mini-Clinic!
All interested riders MUST RESPOND BY APRIL 15! Please email shelby_walker@hotmail.com !
We are pleased to offer a special, NEIHC-only mini-clinic at Mountain Lane Farm in Temple NH (https://mountainlanefarm.com/). The mini clinic (Intro to Mountain Trail) is a 2 hour group lesson. Everyone starts in-hand and works their way up to riding the course.
Cost: $150 per rider for those riders who have never taken a mini-clinic at Mountain Lane Farm; or $75 per rider if you have previously completed a mini-clinic.
Date: May 10, 2025; be tacked up and ready to go no later than 9:50am for a 10am start.
Availability: 4 rider minimum up to 18 riders.
Deadline: Please email shelby_walker@hotmail.com by April 5th if you are interested in joining the clinic. Your spot will only be reserved upon payment (on a first come basis); payment details to be provided upon confirmation of interest.
A number of NEIHC members have done this clinic and it is very fun/challenging but accessible to riders of all levels. Mountain Lane Farm / Heather White is very familiar with the breed and is incredibly excited to host us.

Icelandic Horsemanship Clinic
The NEIHC is happy to offer a clinic with the owner of an Icelandic horse equitation business, a Hólar graduate currently working at Hestaland with Guðmar Pétursson, and at Lundar Horse Breeding in Iceland.
The clinic is June 7 & 8 and is being held at Black Oak Stables in Hamilton MA. The address is 1 Winthrop St, South Hamilton, MA 01982. Trailer parking is available on the right side of Winthrop St.
Private or semi-private lessons available depending on the number of participants. Blocks of 50 minute lessons. Cost is $130 per block. Additional $20 per person ring fee per day.
Auditors welcome. $10/day

The NEIHC in-hand demo will take place on Friday, November 8, at 2:45 PM at the Equine Fundamentals Forum in the Mallory.
Additionally, NEIHC member Rebekah and her Icelandic, Maple, will be in the Ivy Starnes Gaited Horse Clinic on Sunday, November 10, at 11:45 AM.
